The simple idea
Most incredible, moist and delicious. That is the whole promise.
Simply Cakes and Cupcakes is a little shop with a big case. Cupcakes lined up under hand-lettered wooden labels, a wood table to sit at, and a kitchen in the back where the cakes get finished by hand.
People come in for a half-dozen on the way to a party and leave planning a wedding cake. They come in for one Lemon Drop and end up with a box of Red Velvet, French Raspberry, and Celebration because you cannot pick just one. That is the shop working the way it is supposed to.
Everything is made fresh. The buttercream is piped, not pumped. And when somebody calls with an occasion and no idea what they want, that is our favorite conversation to have.

The swirl on top is not a decoration we buy. It is buttercream, piped one cupcake at a time. It is why two cupcakes from the same batch are sisters, not clones.

Last-minute gender reveal, a wedding cake two hours before close, a half-dozen with tiny piped carrots. When we can make it work, we do, and we get it to you on time.
