Domenico's sits at the edge of Lake Mission Viejo, with the terrace half a step from the water. The pasta is made by hand each morning. The wine list runs from the easy weeknight Chianti to a Brunello that's been resting in the cellar.
What people remember is the table they had: the one with the lake at their shoulder, the sun coming down behind the pelicans, the lobster spaghetti coming out as the patio lights turn on.

Black Angus short rib braised five hours in Cabernet and aromatics, served over yukon mash with charred broccolini. Lake-view comfort with proper Italian shoulders.

Penne tossed in our basil-pine-nut pesto with sliced wild mushrooms and a touch of cream. The plate that quietly carries the menu on a Tuesday night.
Sit down before the sun does,
The lake turns gold around 6:45 most of the year, and the terrace fills up about twenty minutes before that. The patio tables go first. We hold what we can.
Phone us by 4pm the day-of. We seat the patio first-come on weekends, reserved Tue, Wed, Thu.
Up to 30 in the banquet room. The lakeside long table seats 14. Phone or email at least three days ahead.
Open 4pm. Sun goes down between 6 and 7:45 across the year. Best terrace seating, 5:30 onward.
Casual elegant. A patio sweater for after the sun drops, the lake breeze comes in cool.
