Our Story
A family by the fire.
Bushfire Kitchen was founded in 2012 by two cousins, a chef and an entrepreneur, looking to make a difference in the way people eat.
Comfort food you can feel good about.
It started with a simple mission: serve healthy, delicious food, made from scratch with the highest quality ingredients, at prices that work for the whole family.
More than a decade later, the family business proudly continues that mission. Mission Viejo is the first Orange County location, serving clean, globally inspired comfort food, from grass-fed tri-tip plates to fresh salads and housemade drinks.
Chef-crafted dishes, off the fire, on a shaded and heated patio.
What we believe
Three things, simply.
- 01
Feel good after
The whole idea is comfort food you can feel good about. Real plates, fresh greens, made from scratch, so you leave full and not heavy.
- 02
Quality on the plate
Grass-fed tri-tip, cage-free chicken, sustainable salmon. The ingredients come first, and the fire does the rest.
- 03
Affordable, on purpose
A family business with a simple mission: healthy, delicious food at prices that work for the whole family.
