Plan the spaces guests and staff actually use
A South Orange County event may use a clubhouse and lawn, a private home and garden, or different ceremony and reception properties. An address alone does not reveal how internet needs to move through that event. Mark each place where a payment terminal, check-in tablet or camera will operate.

Treat a home or clubhouse connection as a starting point
An existing router may support the building’s normal use without covering the event area. Ask the owner whether the connection can be used, where the network equipment is located and who can authorize temporary changes.
Test at the planned operating positions with the actual devices. The strongest indoor signal may be irrelevant if the check-in desk sits across a courtyard. A network extender is not automatically the right answer; consider the connection back to the router, available power and the number of devices using it.
Avoid moving or resetting permanent equipment without the owner’s approval. The event should have a clear restoration and handover plan for the ordinary household or venue network.
Arrange access before equipment arrives
For a gated property or managed clubhouse, arrange vendor entry and identify the person who can unlock equipment and electrical areas. Include those steps in setup time. If the event begins before the normal office opens, resolve access beforehand.
For a ceremony and reception at different addresses, decide whether connectivity is required at both places at the same time. A single portable kit cannot cover separate properties simply because the booking describes one wedding. The schedule may require two setups or a planned move with a testing window.
Check outdoor placement and power
At a garden or hillside property, inspect the antenna location rather than assuming a satellite connection will work anywhere outside. Buildings and trees can obstruct the needed view. Cellular service also needs assessment at the actual site.
List the network devices sharing portable power and include setup, event time and closing. Confirm weather protection, permitted mounting and cable routes with the property manager. Do not borrow power allocated to catering or production without coordination.
What should you send first?
