Who this is for
A venue with an existing network that is understood by one person, an outgoing supplier or nobody on the current team.
The project
I’ll quote the work you need and check whether your existing equipment can be used.
Identify covered equipment, relevant service accounts and the authorized owner of administrative access.
Document start-up checks, vendor access instructions and safe first troubleshooting steps.
Show nominated staff the supported tasks and when to stop and escalate a problem.
A confusing setup does not automatically need a rebuild. The review first identifies devices and the business tasks they support. Administrative access must be obtained through the owner or authorized vendor. Missing credentials may require vendor recovery or separately approved reconfiguration; access recovery is not guaranteed.
The handover focuses on recognizable equipment, approved checks and clear contact routes. It distinguishes restarting a permitted device from changing network settings that could interrupt other services. Passwords are handed over through an agreed secure method, not printed into a general staff guide. Documentation can be updated under a separate maintenance scope.
