The Human Bean is built on a simple habit: hand good coffee out the window, and hand a little kindness out with it. The bean on top is where you can taste it.
A drive-thru, on purpose

This Human Bean lives in a small shack on El Toro Road in Lake Forest, with string lights along the eaves and a steaming cup on the sign. You pull up, you order, the coffee comes to the car. That's it. No big room, no long line, no parking lot to cross with a hot cup.
Behind the window: drip and espresso, frozen granitas, Bright Energy refreshers, real-fruit smoothies, a small griddle running breakfast, a rack of syrups, and oat milk for anyone who wants it. Whatever you order, it leaves with a bean on top.

Every drink leaves the window with a little chocolate-covered espresso bean on top. It's small. It's free. It's the whole idea: a bit of kindness handed out with the coffee, every single time.

Oat milk, sugar-free syrups, decaf, an extra shot, a real-fruit smoothie for the kid in the back seat. You brew you. Tell the window what you like and it gets made the way you like it.
