On McIntyre Street in Laguna Hills, the menu board reads like a surf log. Brooks Street, Trestles, Salt Creek, Mavericks, Cloudbreak, Padang Padang. Every cold sandwich is named for a wave, and the hot side runs off the griddle.

Cold cases up front, hot griddle in back. The California Reuben with Reef slaw on sourdough. Rotisserie chicken, bacon and Reef aioli on the Padang Padang. Albacore tuna salad on the Cloudbreak. Bomber sandwiches, the way the shop sign promises.

Recently went here for the first time. I had and enjoyed the California Reuben and a taster size of potato salad. The sandwich and potato salad each tasted great. The service was fast and friendly. Best suited for a lunch visit.
