II · The Thread
One twisted cotton thread, drawn by hand, drawing the line.
A length of 100% cotton thread is twisted between the technician's fingers, and as the twist passes over the skin it lifts each hair cleanly at the root. Nothing is pulled across the skin. Nothing chemical touches it.
What it allows is precision. The thread can lift a row of three hairs and leave the row behind them untouched. A brow shape is built one row at a time, drawn to the architecture of your own face.

IV · Why Threading
Three things the thread does well.

Gentle on the skin
No heat, no chemicals, no adhesives. The skin around the brow is not pulled or coated. It stays itself. Most clients leave a little pink for ten minutes and then evenly back to normal.

Lasts about four weeks
Hair lifted at the root grows back finer and more evenly than hair cut at the surface. Most regulars come in every three to four weeks for a touch up that takes ten minutes.
The technique is older than the studio. The studio happens to be in Mission Viejo.
