A family from Bangkok
Muse is family-owned, with more than twenty years of restaurant experience behind it. The family came from Bangkok, Thailand, and opened the first Muse in 2015.
Japanese, with a twist
The food is inspired by original Japanese sushi with an American twist and a little bit of spicy Thai fusion. Every dish, sushi, sashimi and hand roll is hand crafted by the sushi chefs.
Fresh fish, every dish
Fish is sourced daily from the Los Angeles markets. It is the line the house repeats, and the one the regulars quote back: fresh fish, every dish.
The Hands
Chef Obi & Kat.
Siblings and co-owners, Chef Obi and Kat run Muse together, carrying more than twenty years of restaurant experience from Bangkok to Laguna Niguel. They opened the first Muse in 2015 and brought it here in 2020.
