A small Italian dining room, run the old way.
Cloth on the tables. Linen folded. Bread out of the oven, butter softening. A short list of pastas pulled to order, fish from the case, a lamb shank that's been on low heat since this morning. We make the desserts ourselves. We pour a real wine list.
